Before they fly

Your host, introduced.

When you book, we assign your child a host and send you their photo, a short bio, and their language(s) within 48 hours. Your host receives a full brief:

  1. Who they're meeting

    Your child's name, age, university, and accommodation.

  2. The arrival

    Flight details and dietary preferences.

  3. What matters to you

    Any worries you've shared, and the package you've chosen.

You and your host can exchange WhatsApp or WeChat introductions before the trip if you'd like.

When they land

The flight is tracked. The host is at the door.

The moment the flight lands, your host is at the international arrivals door with a printed welcome card. You receive a sequence of messages in real time:

  • "Flight from [city] has landed. [Host] is at arrivals."
  • A photo, if your child consents, of the safe-arrival moment.
  • "[Student] is with [Host] now — heading to the accommodation."
  • "[Student] is at the flat."

Day by day

What two to five days looks like.

It depends on the package — but across all of them: real-time updates, a host who's actually there, and a clear plan.

  1. Welcome · 2 days
    Airport pickup, accommodation, SIM card, first meal, a supermarket shop, and milestone messages to you.
  2. Settle · 3 days
    Everything in Welcome, plus a UK bank account, a cultural-food shop, transport orientation (we ride the bus together), a campus walkthrough, and a restaurant meal.
  3. Tailored · 3+ days
    Built around your child — multiple cuisines, a cultural-community introduction, multi-day check-ins, translator support, daily reports in your language.

When the trip ends

A written wrap-up. A summary you can keep.

At the end of the package, your host writes up what was done, what your child knows now, and anything you should know. We email you that summary the morning after the last day — and your child keeps their personalised Welcome Guide booklet.
